Prizdale Times announces the Prizdale Pencil Sketching Contest 2025, an online competition for students of Classes I to IX. This contest focuses only on sketching, encouraging children to express their creativity through lines, shading, and imagination without the use of colours or decorative materials.
Registration Details
• Registration fee: ₹199 + GST (administrative charges)
• Open to children worldwide
• Payment must be made in Indian rupees via Indian gateways
• Gift vouchers are valid only on Prizdale Mart and delivery is available within India
• Participants outside India may need support from someone in India for payment and prize delivery
Important Dates
• Last date to register: Sunday, 15th September 2025
• Last date to submit entries: Saturday, 20th September 2025
Awards & Recognition
• Total prizes worth ₹3,000 in gift vouchers from Prizdale Mart
• All participants will receive e-certificates by email
• Winners will be featured on Prizdale Times, other Prizdale Group platforms, and social media
Age Groups and Topics
Participants must create their sketch on one topic from their age group.
Classes I–III (choose any one):
• My Favourite Animal
• A Basket of Fruits
• A Simple Scene (hut, tree, sun, children playing)
Classes IV–VI (choose any one):
• A Bicycle Ride
• A Railway Station or Bus Stop Scene
• A Farmer Working in the Field
Classes VII–IX (choose any one):
• A Street Scene in the City (shops, vehicles, people)
• Sports Action Scene
• Train Passing Through the Countryside
Originality Clause
• All sketches must be the child’s own original creation
• Tracing, photocopying, or copying directly from books, internet images, or other artworks is not allowed
• A reverse image search and authenticity check will be conducted by the judges
• If an entry is found to be copied or reproduced from another source, it will be disqualified immediately
Guidelines for Sketching
• Only pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, etc.) may be used
• Sketch must be on A4 size paper
• Shading and texturing are encouraged
• No colours, paints, or decorations permitted
• Submit a clear scanned copy or photo of the sketch
Optional Photograph
Participants may also upload a clear photo of themselves holding their completed sketch. This is entirely optional and will not influence the judging process. However, a good-quality picture of the participant with their artwork may be featured on the Prizdale Times website, sister websites, and Prizdale Group social media platforms. Adding such a photo can help boost the contestant’s profile and showcase their enthusiasm. By submitting the photo, parents/guardians automatically grant consent for its publication.

After Registration
Participants will receive an email within 2 working days of payment. The email will include a Google Form link for submission. Emails are sent manually after verification.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
• Cancellations and refunds are permitted only within two days of completing registration
• After two days, the registration fee is non-refundable
• No refund will be given if a participant fails to submit their entry before the submission deadline
• In case of technical issues on our side (for example, if the contest is cancelled), full refunds will be processed
Additional Rules & Conditions
• The sketch must be the participant’s own original creation. Parents or adults should not assist children in making the artwork.
• By submitting entries, participants and their parents agree that Prizdale Group, Prizdale Times, Prizdale Learning, and sister companies may publish the submitted sketches for publicity purposes. Entries may appear on websites, newspapers, promotional materials, or social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Submission of the Google Form and participation in the contest will be considered as parental consent for the child’s name, photograph, and artwork to be used for promotional and publicity purposes.
• All rights to the submitted sketches will belong to Prizdale Group, Prizdale Times, Prizdale Learning, and associated companies.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding the results.
