Pranav Raj is a Class 10 student at D.A.V. Public School in Bihar. He enjoys reading and writing poems and stories, and has a special interest in children’s literature. Pranav has contributed to several magazines and was inspired to start writing in Class 7 after reading the works of his favourite author, Ruskin Bond.
When the Cloud Speaks
I heard the cloud speak,
Birds were singing with their little beaks,
I was lying near the small stream,
Eating cake and bread with a little cream.
The grasses were green,
I couldn’t believe what I had seen,
The mountains were talking,
The clouds were walking.
The fishes were drifting in the blue river,
I was smiling even though I had a fever,
All my sufferings vanished in the sky,
I was lying on the grass with a dream to fly.
