Championing AI and Digital Innovation in Schools

On Sunday, December 29, 2023, the Singhania Education Foundation hosted a remarkable education conclave at Hotel Kanha Shyam, Prayagraj, with the theme “Leading in a Digital World: Technology’s Role in Modern Educational Leadership.” The event brought together educators, thought leaders, and senior policymakers to discuss the transformative role of technology in shaping modern education.

The conclave featured a distinguished panel discussion moderated by Dr. Dheeraj Mehrotra, a renowned educationist. The panel included eminent personalities such as Dr. Arun Prakash, Founder Principal and Chairman of Laurels International School; Mr. Yogesh Chandra Yadav, Chairman of Mother Teresa Convent, Prayagraj; Mr. Sujoy Chakraverty, Director of Swami Vivekanand Academy; Ms. Pooja Gupta, Director of LDC Public School; and Mr. Arpan Yadav, Managing Director of Bal Mitra School.

Dr. Prakash shed light on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming classroom experiences, enabling personalized learning, and enhancing student engagement. Mr. Sujoy Chakraverty spoke about the importance of integrating digital resources to bridge gaps in education, while Ms. Pooja Gupta highlighted the need for leadership that adapts to technological advancements.

The program also showcased Singhania Education Foundation’s state-of-the-art AI-driven solutions for schools, including Quest, an AI-powered competency-based question generator; ERP solutions; a Learning Management System; and digital learning resources. The comprehensive presentation impressed all attendees, including senior leaders from Delhi, who lauded the foundation’s innovative and practical offerings.

The highlight of the day was the awards ceremony, where several dignitaries, including Dr. Arun Prakash, distributed honors to exceptional principals across the Prayagraj region. Awardees included Mrs. Alpona Dey of Maharishi Patanjali Vidya Mandir and Mrs. Geeta Arora of LDC Public School, recognized for their extraordinary contributions to education.

Dr. Mehrotra noted, “This conclave isn’t just about technology but about embracing innovation to ensure every child receives the best possible learning experience.” Similarly, Mr. Yogesh Chandra Yadav emphasized, “Technology must be a tool for inclusion, not just efficiency, enabling even the most marginalized students to thrive.”

The event, attended by principals and education leaders from cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, and Varanasi, underlined the shared responsibility of educators to embrace technology and prepare students for a future driven by innovation. The conclave concluded on a high note, fostering collaboration and optimism about the future of education.
