Join the 6th Edition of the National Economics Olympiad 2023 (NEO) hosted by The Economics Society, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)! NEO is India’s premier economics competition for high school students, aimed at fostering a deep understanding of economics and promoting intellectual discourse. Here’s what you need to know:
About NEO: NEO is a knowledge-driven initiative designed to expand students’ horizons beyond their regular curriculum. It’s open to students in grades XI and XII from schools across India and beyond. The Olympiad consists of two rounds – Prelims on 5th November 2023 and Finals on 19th November 2023, both held online.
Prizes and Recognition: Participants have the chance to win cash prizes up to Rs. 85,000 and other exciting rewards. All participants receive performance-based certificates. Winners may also get the opportunity to interact with SRCC students and work with The Economics Society.
Structure: NEO features questions from four categories: Economic Concepts, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, and Case Studies.
Registration: The registration fee is Rs. 199/student, Register via this link. All students, regardless of their economics background, are encouraged to participate. A preparation booklet with sample questions will be provided.
